Sandy has a strong athletic background and spent many years pushing herself as a competitor. When she graduated college she noticed new aches and pains in her workouts and turned to yoga to relieve them. She fell headfirst into a strong Vinyasa practice that soon produced both physical and mental benefits. Sandy believes that the benefits of yoga are endless and is grateful to share Ashtanga-based Vinyasa with her students. She is humbled at the opportunity to step off her mat onto her students'  in an attempt to cultivate a sense of peace, balance and mindfulness that students can carry with them into their daily lives. Sandy received her 200-hour training under the guidance of Michael Stein at Ashtanga of New Paltz, NY
