All of our classes are inspired by Iyengar, Ashtanga, Barkan, Bikram, Modo, and Baptiste Yoga. Most classes are practiced in a heated room (approximately 90-100+ degrees) to help cleanse your body and warm your muscles. This energetic, challenging yoga practice is adaptable and available to all levels! Come as you are! 

Please come to class hydrated and equipped with a towel and water bottle. Mats available to rent at the studio.

 

HOT CLASSES

POWER VINYASA

All level heated power vinyasa yoga classes are designed to energize and awaken the body, create space and build inner fire. Firefly Power vinyasa is an all levels breath and  movement based yoga practice.The room is heated at 91-98 degrees. Power Vinyasa classes offered at Firefly are Baptiste inspired.  The intention is to create a fully rounded practice,  designed to create possibility for every-body! The class is led from drishti (focus), breath, foundation and core as an access to power and stability. All of our Firefly Power Vinyasa classes are all levels and designed to create possibility from the foundation level into what is possible. 

HOT 26

The Hot 26 is practiced in a heated room consisting of 26 postures,  performed twice in a sequential order. This yoga practice works on the principles of maximum compression, extension, and relaxation in every pose to create optimal health, increasing flexibility, Strength, and balance within the body. It improves circulation and reduces stress, to provide infinite benefits. In time, you will learn to focus your mind and control your breath, leading you to work harder, deeper, yet calmer. As you improve this relationship, you will realize the true meaning of yoga; A union of the body, mind and spirit.

The room is heated to between 105-110 degrees. Please come hydrated and dressed appropriately. See our new student guidelines.

HOT SCULPT
Hot Sculpt is a hot power vinyasa class with HIIT, strength, and skill work integrated into the class . It is designed to build strength and tone muscles. A heated class that involves a full-body workout.


SLOW BURN VINYASA
This fully heated class is for anyone looking to focus on foundation in alignment and stability in their practice. This alignment-based vinyasa flows with restorative elements. Great for all levels and anyone new to vinyasa or heated yoga.

MODO HATHA YOGA
This is a Modo Inspired foundational practice which consists of 40 postures, and is an accessible, cardiovascular sequence where postures are held for 30-45 seconds per side to build muscular strength, endurance and flexibility.

MODO FLOW YOGA
A challenging, movement-based hot yoga practice that builds on the Modo foundation. Postures are linked with breath and movement creating a fluid practice rooted in vinyasa yoga. Modo Flow is a great complement to a regular Modo practice.

NON-HEATED CLASSES

YIN YOGA
Yin yoga works deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. It targets the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, and the deep fascia networks of the body and meridians. This is in contrast to a Yang yoga practice such as Vinyasa yoga which targets the muscles. Energetically, Yin yoga improves the energy flow, enhancing the flow of chi in the organs. To be healthy, we need healthy organs as well as healthy muscles. Yin yoga also offers emotional and mental benefits. 

 

SLOW FLOW YOGA
This is our gentle non-heated vinyasa class offering. This class is designed to move slower through poses and transitions giving students more space to move and adapt. This is a great place for anyone looking to slow down or scale down their yoga practice.

 

RESTORATIVE FLOW & ALIGN
We will move the body with a gentle flow to warm up as we connect breath with awareness making space for settling the mind-body connections in the present.

You will learn to use yoga props: blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters, etc, for cultivating alignment and support for stillness to your body. Each week you’ll explore 4-6 fully supported yoga asanas, taking time to focus on breathing deeply as we activate the parasympathetic nervous system. Pranayama and/or meditation will be included in this well rounded slow paced practice. This class welcomes all humans, including folks working through injuries. Come as you are, to nourish your body, mind and spirit through a challenging slow, supported practice that merges both the movement & supported surrender.
