Learn to Float
Saturday | March 9, 2019 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm

This workshop will tackle a wide array of poses such as handstand, forearm stand, headstand variations, pikes and presses. We will build foundation for our flight class through core exercise and integrative poses that ask you to strengthen your center. This class is fun, informative and light. The workshop is open to all levels and it is suggested you know basic arm balances like crow and side crow. This afternoon will be filled with laughter and community joy. Bring a mat, towel and personal water container.

Soulful Flow
Sunday | March 9, 2019 from 10:00am - 11:30am

This 2 hour Vinyasa based class is designed to awaken your body, calm your mind and add value to your life. We will start with a soulful chant to increase your vibration, then use breathing techniques as a way to elevate your energetic body. After a juicy physical yoga practice focusing on the hips and heart area you will be serenaded into a deep relaxing savasana. Come recharge, reset and re-center.

Backbending Workshop with Kerry Armstrong
Sunday | March 10, 2019 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm

In this workshop styled flow class you will learn the basics of backbending that will give you the foundation for expression in postures such as camel, full wheel and drop backs. We will start with hip openers to loosen the lower body allowing for more space in the spine. After we have created heat within the flow you will be taught inversions and twists that will support your evolution of backbends. Backbending is a chance for you to open your heart, breathe deep into spaces that may carry emotional debris and develop trust in relationship with yourself and others. The heart chakra is the place where you give and receive love. We will work through a series of backbends, end in forward bends and then you will be serenaded through song in a long soul satisfying savasana.

About Kerry Armstrong:

Kerry Armstrong is a Yoga and Mindfulness teacher dedicated to empowering others to reach for their highest potential through the teachings of yoga. Kerry considers herself always a student and always a teacher. She is deeply devoted to yoga, meditation and self-inquiry. She believes that yoga can create a pathway for more peace, health and vitality in the world. Kerry leads a strong vinyasa flow class based on the teachings of Baptiste Yoga, weaving in mantras, mudras and breathwork. Kerry believes that as a teacher she is simply there to hold space for her students to experience transformation, wholeness and healing. Kerry travels the world leading workshops and retreats as a way to share yoga with each and every person she meets.
